1523 Deep Dive
I enjoy this piece. The attention to detail is much greater than my 9 year old Luminox Special Ops 8403 (blue dial quartz). Much greater. I decided to give Luminox the benefit of the doubt and try their Automatic (Sellita SW220-1movement). From my research, it is a reliable movement. After one week it was +4 seconds. It has since settled down to +6 seconds total which is quite acceptable, as I am very pleased. The vastness of the Dial area which is uncluttered reminds me of the ocean. I did not notice this at first, as it hit my head a week later. Was this part of the design? I'll never know. You really have to see this in person or see some really good photos online. The aluminum numbering in the bezel is really quite pleasing. The blue dial is something to see, its quite good. Enough about that. It is big, but oddly fits my wrist quite well. My wrist measures 7-7-1/2" depending on if its a gym day or not (also diet, carbs, etc). I am 6'2' and a bit over 210lbs. I mention this to give you an idea of how it may fit you. I replaced the band with an Isofrane Blue 24mm. I liked the OEM band but I can do better. I plan to wear this for ten years. We'll see.
