MONTBLANC Meisterstuck Red Gold-Coated 149 Piston Fountain Pen 112666

This is the second MB Meisterstuck 149 I've purchased in the last 30 years. The first one was purchased in 1992 in yellow gold and is still in use today. Just sent it for a tune-up matter of fact. The second one is this rose/red gold 149 purchased new from the Watch Warehouse. What a discovery! Found WW last year and purchased a MB Meisterstuck 146 in Rose/Red Gold and now I have the matching set. Buy with confidence. You won't be sorry! :-)

This pen is a beast! The #8 medium nib is a little stiffer than I expected, but extremely smooth and consistent at the same time. The large ink capacity is really nice, and the ink flow is just perfect. The large girth and light weight make this pen very combatants in the hand. I have now ordered 3 mont blonc pens from watchwarehouse and they have all been well tuned, super pleasurable writing instruments.
