This is a dream pen. I like the thickness--less hand cramping (I write by longhand before keying in). The Watch Warehouse price is competitive. The delivery was swift. For those who are used to a Fine nib on other fountain pens, you may find that this Montblanc Fine is a little thicker. Some say it also depends on use and paper. I've used it in a TamoeRiver notebook, a Leuchtturm1917 and a Clairefontaine. The ink is a little 'wet' (I use Montblanc Royal Blue) but dries quickly and when I really want to be pompous I use a roller ink blotter (no, I am not 200 years old, just act like it sometimes). This F nib uses less ink than the M nibs of vintage Montblancs. Interestingly, there's little difference nib on my favorite vintage 146 on the TomoeRiver paper. There is a visible difference on the Leuchtturm1917 page. The caveat is my handwriting.
