Everything is perfection, especially the nib and the flow of the feed. If you are comfortable with a Japanese fine point, this Montblanc extra-fine nib is the one you want. I have it inked up with Montblanc's permanent blue ink and it is sublime. Not too wet, and nowhere near dry. And smooth! Always starts with no skips and the nib has that perfect softness. I've been searching for a grail pen recently. I have been eying Auroras, Viscontis, Pelikans, Montblancs, and the Pilot Custom 845. After receiving my Le Grand, I have written dozens of pages about foxes and dogs because I cannot put this pen down. I have cleaned and boxed my other pens as none of them compares to the writing enjoyment of the Le Grand. I love fountain pens but I don't consider myself a collector.
