Omega has been the official timekeeper of the Olympic games since 1932. In celebration of this very important role, Omega produced a unique timepiece with all of the chronograph functionality you could expect from the Olympic timekeepers themselves. A white dial with black Arabic numerals rests inside its stainless steel, 42mm case. A seconds counter, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder all coexist within the dial. The central chronograph hand features the Olympic Rings as its counterweight, adding a touch of color (and a ton of history) to this already beautiful Omega timepiece.
Within the watch, the Calibre 3313 self-winding movement with a Co-Axial escapement provides a 52-hour power reserve. The watch also features a 10 bar (330 feet/100 meters) water resistance, along with a domed sapphire crystal. Omega Speedmasters accompanied NASA astronauts on all 6 of the manned missions to the moon, and they still perform the timekeeping for all Olympic events to this day.
